Privacy in plain words
This site collects as little as possible. Here is exactly what, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible
Sergey Bugaeff, AI & Automation Consultant. For any question about your data, email sergey@bugaeff.com.
What I collect and why
- Request form. Your name, email, company or website (optional), your message and how you found me. Used only to reply and discuss your request. The form is run by Tally.
- Booking a call. Your name, email, the time you pick and anything you add. Used only to hold the call. Bookings are run by Cal.com.
- Updates by email. Only your email, and only if you subscribe and confirm. Used only to tell you when a new free tool is out. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Subscriptions are run by Kit.
- Emails you send me. Kept in my mailbox, run by Zoho Mail.
- Visit statistics. Anonymous page views, counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies and no personal profile.
- Videos. Shown through YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube receives data only when you press play.
- Free downloads. Files come straight from GitHub, with no sign-up. GitHub sees the download like any website visit.
- Paying an invoice. Payments are taken on Stripe's secure page, not on this site. Stripe collects your payment details, email, name, business name and invoice number. I see who paid, how much and for which invoice, never your full card number. Stripe emails you a receipt.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and does no tracking. That is why there is no cookie banner. Stripe's payment page is a separate site and uses its own cookies to keep payments secure, under Stripe's own policy.
Who else handles your data
Only the services named above, each under its own privacy policy, and only to do the job described. Some of them are based outside the UK, for example in the US. I never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
How long I keep it
Requests and booking details: as long as needed to deal with them and any work that follows, then deleted. Email updates: until you unsubscribe. Payment records: as long as UK tax and accounting rules require, usually six years.
Why I'm allowed to use it
To reply to a request or hold a call, because you asked me to and I have a genuine interest in answering. For email updates, because you gave your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. To take a payment and keep accounting records, because it is needed for our agreement and required by law.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or withdraw consent. Just email sergey@bugaeff.com. You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the ICO.
